Even though it's Hyrule, YOUR Hyrule gets a name. Every great architect gives their creation a name. This is the name that will live in the Orizon platform, in the notes, in everything. Think carefully — or just say the first thing that comes to you. Both are valid.
Which Era Does Your Story Begin In?
Hyrule's timeline split three ways after the Hero of Time. Your story can start in any era — or create something new that sits between them. Choose the feel that matches your vision.
🌿
Age of Wild
BotW / TotK era. Open world, sky islands, ancient Sheikah and Zonai technology. Calamity Ganon has come and gone. The land is recovering.
🕰️
Age of Time
Ocarina era. The Hero of Time exists. The Temple of Time stands. The Sacred Realm is intact. The timeline has not yet split.
🌊
Age of Winds
Wind Waker era. The old Hyrule is flooded. The Great Sea stretches everywhere. Islands are all that remain of the old kingdom.
🌑
Age of Twilight
Twilight Princess era. Two worlds overlap — the light world and the Twilight Realm. Zant's corruption spreads. Link transforms into a wolf.
⚡
The First Age
Skyward Sword era. Skyloft still floats. The surface is wild and unmapped. This is before Hyrule even had a name.
✨
My Own Era
Something new. A gap in the timeline nobody has written yet. Jon's era, with its own rules.
What Does Your Hyrule Look Like?
Every version of Hyrule has the same regions — but they look different depending on the era and what's happened to them. Tell me what YOUR regions look like. What's flourishing? What's in ruins? What's been taken over?
Who or What is the Evil?
It doesn't have to be Ganondorf. The curse of Demise means evil keeps returning — but it doesn't always take the same form. Maybe it IS Ganondorf but a version nobody has seen before. Maybe it's something else entirely that woke up because Ganondorf was defeated and left a power vacuum. You decide.
👑
Ganondorf
The Demon King himself in his Gerudo form — intelligent, political, powerful. The most dangerous version of the evil.
🌑
Calamity Ganon
Pure malice without intelligence. A force of destruction that corrupts everything it touches. No reasoning with it. No negotiating.
🐉
The Demon Dragon
Ganondorf after swallowing a Secret Stone. An immortal dragon of darkness threatening to tear the sky apart.
🗡️
A Corrupted Champion
One of Hyrule's own heroes or leaders, twisted by Malice or betrayal. Someone Link trusted. Someone Zelda trusted.
👁️
Something Ancient
Something older than Ganondorf. Something that was sealed before Hyrule even had a name. Demise was only the most recent one.
✨
My Own Villain
A completely original evil that Jon created himself. New name, new origin, new power, new goal.
Who Is Your Link?
Every Link is a reincarnation of the same spirit — but they grow up differently, train differently, and have different personalities. Your Link gets to be exactly who you want him to be. He is always brave, always the chosen one — but beyond that, you decide.
Who Is Your Zelda?
Zelda is always the Triforce of Wisdom — but she is not always a passive princess. In some eras she fights. In some she hides. In some she sacrifices everything. You decide how strong she is, what she knows, and what role she plays in your story.
Not Yet Awakened
She has the power but doesn't know how to use it. Fear and doubt block it.
Partially Awakened
She can use it in moments of great need but cannot control it reliably.
Fully Awakened
She is the most powerful Zelda in history. She is actively fighting alongside Link from the start.
Yes — She's Been Waiting
She saw him in a vision years ago. She's been preparing for his arrival.
No — They Figure It Out Together
Neither of them knows at first. The adventure reveals who they really are.
Who Stands With Link?
No hero travels alone. The Champions, the sages, the companions, the unexpected friends — these characters are often the most memorable in the whole story. You can use existing Zelda characters or create completely new ones. Or both.
Your World — Complete
Here is everything you've built so far. This gets saved to Cybertron automatically. Your dad can read it anytime. Add to it, change it, come back to it — the Slate never forgets.
